Wianno Senior Centennial Celebration ~ Teddy Kennedy Jr. at Wianno Yacht Club

July 29, 2014 The South Shore's Morning News on 95.9 WATD Special Feature ~ 2014 marks the Centennial Anniversary of the Wianno Senior Class of sailboats designed by Crosby Yacht in Osterville on Cape Cod.   A weekend of celebrations was had by all at the Wianno Yacht Club with races, a Centennial Parade of Sails with over 40 boats participating, awards and a Centennial Dinner Dance attended by over 450 people on July 26th.  The Wianno Senior is a favorite boat of the Kennedy family especially the late JFK and his boat hull #94 "Victura."  WATD Sports Reporter Liza Churchill attended the Centennial Dinner Dance where Teddy Kennedy Jr. spoke about the Kennedy family's love of Nantucket Sound and the Wianno Senior.  Here's what he had to say ....
