Baptism is how we become part of the diverse Christian family, called to accept one another as Christ accepted us, for the greater glory of God. Acceptance is a central theme in Paul’s Letter to the Romans and today extends to acceptance for all – regardless of nationality or ethnicity, sexuality or gender, culture or class.
