Market Close 7 June 19: Late rally drives market 1% higher on Friday

Buyers were out in force again on Friday, sending the market higher for a fourth straight session. Gains were widespread, with only the Consumer Discretionary sector finishing in the red. A last minute rally helped the ASX 200 (XJO) rise 60 points or 1% to 6,443. Over the week, the index rose 0.7%.
