Young and the Restless: Kyle Abbott Leaving Genoa City? Nothing to Do, No one to Love? #yr

The Young and the Restless viewers have been left questioning the future of Kyle Abbott, played by Michael Mealor. Around late 2020 or early 2021, both Kyle and Summer Newman, now played by Allison Lanier, had been written out of the show, only to have Mealor return on a long-term contract in mid-March 2022. 

With Mealor's contract set to expire in March 2024, fans are left wondering if the showrunners will renew his contract, considering his character's lack of significant storylines on the CBS soap opera.

Fans are urging the show to keep the talented actors but replace head writer Josh Griffith. With an imminent contract expiration and lack of engaging content for his character, Michael Mealor's future on The Young and Restless remains uncertain.
