Authority of a Believer

Authority is the power or right to give orders, make decisions, and enforce obedience.

Do we have any influence over situations and events that mould our lives here on earth ? 

If we only react to events, then we are as vulnerable as any other person without faith or believe in the power of God and delegated authority through His spirit.

So, what influence does a believer have and how can you and I enforce such authority ?
