Market Close 18 Aug 21: ASX 200 drops as miners weigh heavily

The Aussie market closed lower for a third day in a row with the ASX 200 easing back by 9 points or 0.12% to 7,502. BHP was easily the main drag on the market as it slumped 7% following its FY21 profit release & erased 33 points from the benchmark index.
