After being caught sneaking around, Snarl and Xyfiel discuss Fordson's condition with Brosh. Afterward, plans are made on what to do next. As exciting as it would be to witness Brosh exorcise Fordson, they decide to pursue a lead that sends them into the mountain passes to the north. The journey would take them through the outpost town Vermeillon, and end in an abandoned mining town called Maerin, known for its platinum mine spider factory. They decide who and what to bring with them and step out into the night. . .
