In 1975, fifteen year old Martha went to her next door neighbors house for all Hallows Eve. She does not come home that night. Instead her body is found in the wood line in front of her own home the next morning. An investigation gets underway swiftly and prominent neighbors and the last known witnesses to her are spoken to along with the staff in the house. Still there is little evidence and soon the case goes cold. It isn't until 2000 that the case has a resolution, when Michael Skakel is arrested, then later tried and convicted.
