US Close 23 Nov 18: US market closed for Thanksgiving

US sharemarkets were closed last night due to Thanksgiving so all eyes were on European markets which came under pressure. 94% of stocks in Europe lost ground while commodity prices finished mostly softer. Oil fell by 1.4%, iron ore dropped 1.8% while both BHP and Rio Tinto in London dropped by around 2%. Aussie shares are set for a fall of around 0.5% in early trade.
