Have you read Don Miguel Ruiz' book The Four Agreements?
It is a short read that talks about four important principles or "agreements" if you will about how to make our lives better by reducing self-limiting beliefs and thought patterns.
The Four Agreements Are:
1. Be Impeccable With Your Word
2. Don't Take Anything Personally
3. Don't Make Assumptions
4. Always Do Your Best
Here is my spin on how to apply them to your business, as well as how to ask yourself some of the deeper questions to improve your words and actions for a better life!
Here are the follow-up questions for you to journal on/work on after listening to the episode:
Be Impeccable With Your Word
Are you aware of the power of your word? What are some of the ways you’ve experienced the power of the word in your life?
Don’t Take Anything Personally
What are some of the ways you have taken things personally? Do you believe the opinions of others are more important than your own? Do you take it personally if someone disagrees with you?
Don’t Make Assumptions
Provide some examples of why making assumptions can cause so much suffering. Do you assume worst-case scenarios?
Always Do Your Best
What are some examples of how practicing this agreement would transform your life? Do you tend to push yourself too hard? Do you know when you’ve done your best?
Do you find it easy or difficult to practice these agreements? Has practicing one or more of the Four Agreements changed your life?
