Market Close 14 Apr 22: Mining and energy stocks continue to drive the market higher

Aussie shares closed the holiday shortened week on a strong note with the ASX 200 posting a gain of 44 or or 0.6%. All sectors finished higher with the the exception of financials, dragged lower by the half year results announcement by the Bank of Queensland.
