AM Report 27 Aug 18: S&P500 and Nasdaq hit record highs

US markets improved on Friday hitting record highs partly thanks to a speech by Fed chair Jerome Powell who suggested rates will only rise gradually. The US dollar eased and commodity prices rose boosting miners BHP Billiton (BHP) and Rio Tinto (RIO) in London trade.
