David Pohorence is an experienced personal trainer, business coach, multi-fitness franchise owner, and a first-time author. David holds a master's degree in Sports Management from the University of Connecticut and a bachelor's degree in Health Administration from Quinnipiac University. David comes from a large family and is one of seven children. Originally from Connecticut, David currently resides in the Charlotte, NC area, and he owns three Anytime Fitness Franchises in North and South Carolina.
As a former athlete, David always had a passion for fitness, nutrition and of course business, but when he is not working on those, he is focused on his other passion—running! He recently completed his first half marathon and is training to run his first marathon.
During his down time, David enjoys spending time with his wife Shannon, daughter, Avery and son, Caleb. “Family is everything to me, and so I believe its important to cherish each and every moment I get to spend with my family outside of work.”
One fun fact: In college, David was in the theater group where he performed in several plays and had to sing and dance. His enjoyment from doing something so far outside his comfort zone leads him to encourage everyone to try something new. Always remember—“Why Not Me?”
