European Parliament to highlight violence against women

Ireland South MEP Grace O’Sullivan says much more needs to be done to tackle violence against women.

 

She was speaking as the European Parliament marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.

 

MEPS are due to debate the Istanbul Convention, which has been ratified by Ireland and 44 other countries.
