Canadian PM addresses MEPs on CETA deal

The Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau addressed the European Parliament in Strasbourg this morning. It’s the first time a Canadian Prime Minister has officially appeared before the Parliament. Mr Trudeau’s speech followed yesterday’s endorsement by MEPs of the EU-Canada Trade deal known as CETA. During his speech today, Mr Trudeau tried to allay people’s fears about trade deals like CETA.
