MEPs likely to call for end to Summer/Winter clock change – Clune

The European Parliament is this week likely to call on the European Commission to propose ending the twice-yearly switch between summer and winter time. The move is a response to a European citizen’s initiative and petitions that cite health concerns about the effects of the bi-annual time change. The Fine Gael MEP Deirdre Clune says there’s no justification for maintaining the time changes.
