Hard Lines and Grime Lines: Why we Trust Grimy Stories

I've always noticed that hard lines get a lot of attention and stir a lot of emotion. You can build a community on a hard line but it's tough to maintain it broadly. Grime lines are different. We trust them. People who know grime lines aren't adverse to hard lines but they are often seen as inconsistent, and they often are. We need them all.
