Parent Stuff Ep. 2: Depression, Self-Harm, and Anxiety with Professional Counselor Peri Reed

This week on Parent Stuff, a podcast to help parents win, host Evan Semanco talked with our most frequent guest, Peri Reed. Peri is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and co-owner of Shreveport Counseling and Restoration Center who primarily works with adolescents.

Today we talk about a topic that isn't easy, warning signs if you have a child or family member who you think might be depressed, anxious, self-harming, or even suicidal. Peri shares conversations to have even if you aren't noticing any warning signs, ways to help kids of all ages talk about their feelings, and some great resources if you're looking for more information about things like depression, eating disorders, and more.
