US Market Close 24 Feb 17 - Dow posts gains for 10th straight day while tech stocks pull back

US sharemarkets pared early losses on Thursday, after President Trump told CEO's of major US corporates that he plans a number of proposals to bring back jobs to the US. Investors however continued to wait on more detail with indices trading in a tight range. At the close of trade the Dow Jones index was up by 35 points or 0.2%. The S&P 500 index up flat while the Nasdaq was also lower by 25 points or 0.4%.
