Dansby Swanson has agreed to a 7-year, $177 million deal with the Chicago Cubs. Swanson will get more money than many expected, in large part due to a strong shortstop class this year. Swanson has reached a new level in recent years and we have reason to believe he'll sustain it. The White Sox signed Andrew Benintendi to a 5-year, $75 million deal.
