SHOW NOTES
- In the summer was about getting at bats, and not getting hurt pitching
- Play aggressively, and teach them how to fail

- The really good ones will take your information and ask you questions. They will work hard, stay late, and come in early
- Guys are starting to sleep better, trying to eat better, and hydrate better (WHOOP band).
- Better players are having a better mentality
- If the kids know you are prepared and you have a plan, and know you are passionate about what you are teaching, then you will get buy in from your players
- Routines are in order, expectations are in order (stretching, throwing, bases, speaking to adults, cleaning up the dugout).
- Players like to know what to expect
- “Tour defense” = gold jersey for the player who makes the best defensive play
- Caring about your facility creates more buy in
- Communicate often with guys to set expectations
- Take BP time to talk to guys and let them know you care about them
