One day we are trekking the beautiful jungle of Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, and Rusk is struggling to breathe, and next, we're getting a CT scan and confirming our worst fears, Rusk has a double pulmonary embolism.

 We beg you to be proactive about your health and seek medical attention when you feel something is not right. We made every excuse in the book to delay medical treatment... the consequences could have been fatal.
