Join Oliver as he chats with comedian, speaker and disability awareness advocate Michael Lifshitz! Michael is also the founder of 'Illumabilites'. An organization that aims to educate the masses regarding what people with disabilities are truly capable of. While also inspiring all people to overcome their own challenges and live their lives to the fullest of their abilities!

Fresh off of winning the 2019 'Mike MacDonald Summer Comedy Competition' at Yuk Yuk's Ottawa. Michael sheds light on accessibility issues, proper disability vernacular and his own experiences living as a person (and comedian) with a disability.

This episode actually almost didn't happen... Our superior (ProTools) audio setup crapped out moments before we were set to record. Michael was informed that if we were to proceed, the only audio we would have would be sub-par to our normal standard. When asked if he'd like to reschedule for a time when everything was up and running? Michael joked that it was thematic for this episode that the audio be partially "disabled".

With that joke, we knew we had to hit record and make it happen! This is a fantastic conversation, and ultimately the audio is still very decent. Picking up a lot more ambient noise (the dogs barking, etc) than usual, but well worth a listen/watch!
