In the first segment (18h00 pm - 19h00 pm, SAST/12h00 pm - 13h00 pm, EDT), the hosts are in conversation with Ms Makobe Keletso Ramoshaba, a South African English teacher, currently living and working in Nanjing, China, since 2019. Makobe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Vega University, Cape Town, South Africa. She also holds a TEFL qualification, which allows her to work as an ESL teacher. She is on course to complete her PGCE teaching certificate program in December 2023 and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Zhejiang Normal University in May 2024. She started working at Education First (EF) training center in 2019 as an ESL teacher. In 2021 she started working at Nanjing Binjiang Foreign Language School, teaching Grade 1 and middle school.
