Resurrection Mary Part 1

This week I’m telling you the tale of the one and only, Resurrection Mary from Chicago. Her story is the classic hitchhiking ghost tale and the lady in white story haunting the roadway where she was killed. But Mary is a little different from most. She is a huge cultural icon. Her story has captured the imagination of thousands of people. She’s the lost soul looking for a night of happiness but the weird thing with Mary, unlike a lot of phantom ladies out there people believe they know who she was. There is so much research into her origin story, of course there’s differing opinions but we will go into that later. There’s some people that genuine believe that they knew her in life. It’s all just so fascinating. So for today, I’m focusing on how people usually encounter her in a story that is told over and over again. So lets get into shall we?
