This episode of the It’s A Mimic! podcast is going to crack open Volo’s Guide to Monsters and see what 5th Edition has to bring to the table when it comes to some of the reptilian anthropomorphic playable races. Okay, so Kobolds aren’t strictly reptilian, but they’re definitely a step further away from dragons than Dragonborn are, and we know from previous editions that Kobolds shed their skin like other reptiles and are cold-blooded, so this panel of Dungeon Masters is counting them as being just as reptilian as Lizardfolk and Yuan-ti Purebloods. Today’s episode is going to focus on these playable races from a Player perspective, so if you’d like deep dives into each of these races, we covered Kobolds in depth in Episodes 50 and 106, Lizardfolk in E112, and Yuan-ti in Episodes E113 and E114. These episodes are all available on your podcast apps or our YouTube page, as well.
