US Close 22 Nov 17: Strong gains in tech and credit card stocks

US sharemarkets rose to fresh record highs on Tuesday, lifted by technology stocks and healthcare shares. Medical device maker Medtronic's shares rose by 4.8% after the company reported better than-expected results.
