Surrey, British Columbia is a very diverse area, a great place to visit to experience all different cultures from around the world. Manjit Panghali and her Punjabi family lived in the area, keeping their culture active in their everyday life. Manjit met her husband in college and the two married shortly after. In 2006, the couple had welcomed a daughter already and Manjit was currently pregnant with their second. Seemingly in a great place in their marriage and life, pregnant Manjit suddenly disappears, reported missing 26 hours after her husband had last seen her. Why did he wait so long? Where was Manjit? Days later, a body was discovered while the family made public pleas to the community. Was this Manjit? This story will cover the evil which came into the life of Manjit Panghali on one fateful night in 2006.
