Another myth of the vegetarian diet is that you can achieve adequate Vitamin A from plants.  This is a myth because you need fat to utilize the Vitamin A.  Most pre-formed Vitamin A comes from animal-based sources:  Liver, Milk, Eggs, Fish, Fish Oil.   You must have fat to utilize Fat-Soluable Vitamins.
