Fighting for Faith

On Tuesday Charles Stanley, who was the senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta for 50 years, died at the age of 90. My parents attended his church before I was born. He has impacted countless lives through his television and radio teaching ministry. And he remained faithful to the Word of God and to Christ until the end. It is a thing to celebrate whenever someone remains faithful to Christ until the end. This Sunday, we will consider how it was that Paul made it to the end of his life still trusting Jesus, still loyal to Jesus, and still loving Jesus. And we will learn from his example how we can do the same. I hope to you’ll join us as we learn how to fight the fight of faith.
