The Lumber Jacks stayed alive in the Tournament with an 8-2 win over the Saints in a Sunday morning elimination game in Avon. Brandon Dickmann homered in the 1st and Tanner Reis scored on a passed ball in the 2nd to put St. Wendel ahead 2-0, but Noah Winkelman's solo homer in the bottom of the 2nd made it 2-1, then Foley tied it at 2-2 in the 5th on a St. Wendel throwing error. Mitch Keeler's rbi single in the 6th gave Foley a 3-2 lead and Charles Hackett scored on a wild pitch to make it 4-2 after 6. Dan Marod belted a 2-run homer in the 7th and Drew Beier added a 1-run single in the 8th to finish off the scoring and advance Foley to the 2nd weekend State Play-In game in Pierz while the loss eliminated St. Wendel.
