Beaux, a club in San Francisco’s Castro District, hosted a Gay-pec gathering. It’s an effort to show people from more restrictive countries in town for the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation summit or APEC, what it’s like to have LGBTQ protections here in America. Some people said they wanted to come but couldn’t - though the regulars say the Castro is packed!
