💁🏻 Concept: Charismatic Movements
A term referring to any groups or people that trace their historical origin to the charismatic renewal movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Charismatic churches emphasize the Spirit and spiritual gifts. 

📖 Bible Readings: Mark 7:6-7
(Matthew 22:37-38; Mark 7:6-13; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11; Romans 12:6-8; John 4:23-24; Isaiah 29:13)

👨🏻‍💻 Teachings:
1. Worshipping God involves the intellect.
2. Worshipping God involves the emotions. 
3. Worshipping God involves action. 

 

💪🏼 Applications:
1. Intellect: Avoid meaningless, ritualistic worship.
2. Emotion: Worship God from the heart. 
3. Action: Change your patterns and habits.

When was a time you truly felt connected to God in worship? What made that moment different from other times?

 

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord, I want to worship You with my whole being—my mind, my heart, and my actions. Help me to think deeply about who You are, to love You with sincerity, and to let my worship change the way I live. Guard me from empty rituals and routines that lack meaning. Stir my heart so that my worship is real and full of passion. Show me the habits I need to change so that my life reflects my love for You. May my worship bring You joy and draw me closer to You every day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
