Community Action with The Teamsters

For years the Teamsters played an important part not only in labor but in communities as meeting hall and friends who would help a neighbor. Jim Romar the State Political Director forTeamsters Local 238 says the union had gotten away from that and the new incentive TeamCOM is a way to get back into the daily lives of Iowans. Here we visit with Jim, a 30+ year veteran of the West Des Moines Police Department, about the Teamsters and working families in Iowa.
