Mid-Session 1 Jun 18: Weak start as Trump’s steel tariffs kick in

The ASX is under pressure on Friday, held back by falls in the financial and telco sectors. US markets fell overnight after US President Trump announced the US would start to impose previously announced steel and aluminium tariffs on Canada, Mexico & EU nations.
