This week's show will place an emphasis on the power of small and medium NGO efforts to bring about change. The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center and their Water Institute are a powerful example. During the course of over a decade they have, in consort with other interested groups, brought about profound changes in policy in the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife. What does that mean?
