Wetherington Chiropractic Clinic Athlete of the Week for 11.11.2017 Jalen Leary Calvary Day School

 

Jalen, a junior running back/cornerback at Calvary Day School had a night to remember. A two-way player on offense and defense, Leary carried the ball 27 times for 175 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. As a cornerback he recorded, 7 tackles in a 35-10 win over Savannah Christian Prep on October 27th. Leary on the night topped the 1, 000-yard rushing mark for the season during the game.

The night before Jalen’s appearance on the Karl DeMasi Sports Reports, November 3rd  versus Strong Rock Christian, Leary rushed for 204 yards on 22 carries and scored three playoffs.
