Restoring honor to the shadow side of parenthood, the author discusses the shamanic perspective on miscarriage, fertility, sexuality, postpartum stress and depression, blended families, and adoption as a form of birthing through the heart. I am a psychospiritual counselor, ordained shamanic minister, author, and teacher. I specialize in individual, couple, and family counseling that focuses on supporting the whole person: body mind heart + spirit, and integrates the healing wisdom and sensory strategies of nature.
