Turning your wounds into wisdom; what does this phrase mean?

 

It is a call to action.  When we experience pain or trauma, it is easy to feel defeated and helpless.  We have the power to transform our struggles into something meaningful and positive.

Turning  your wounds into wisdom means using the lessons in life you've learned from your past experiences, to gain insight and continues to lead to  personal growth, emotional healing and increased resilience.

It requires courage, strength, trust and hope.  It helps you to be able to navigate through those difficult times.

There are a lot of ways to be able to turn your wounds into weapons or wisdom depending on the quote you like, here are just a few:

-  you can seek therapy

-  you can talk to a trusted friend or family member

-  put your thoughts to paper, get them out of your brain.
