Imago Relationship Theory and Therapy Harville Hendrix, Ph.D. and Helen LaKelly Hunt, Ph.D, co-creators of Imago Relationship Theory and Therapy seek a shift in the value system of the culture, from the primacy of the individual to the primacy of relationship. Their mission is to implement that vision by disseminating new science based relationship theory and skills that create joyful, thriving relationships. They believe that Safe Conversation is the core characteristic of healthy relationships, which in turn are essential for a healthy society. Thus, they have seeded a citywide initiative to distribute safe conversations throughout Dallas, Texas as a first step towards a global movement.
