07 | Play of the Game: Finishing Well

Dear Friend,

We know that the coaching lifestyle often includes a rhythm of closing chapters (and closing on homes!), completing contracts, opening next doors and embracing new people. We are all continuously finishing seasons as we journey through this life, and I don’t know of anyone who desires to travel with emotional baggage or a weight of unfinished business!

Through Christ, we can finish each leg of the journey well, move into the next place or phase with free and open hearts, and avoid collecting bitterness at each new stop. Through Christ, we don’t have to live under the shadow of regret when we are walking in light of the cross! His victory cry that “It is finished,” reminds us that we have His power and that His grace is sufficient for all our weaknesses, especially when we don’t see how we will make it to the finish line. We can finish well and finish strong in His strength, whatever He calls us to do in our lifetimes.
Today we are going to look at 6 areas of our lives where we have opportunities to finish well!
