It was the result of Sarah's insecurities and resentment after she impulsively ignored God's promises for her life and took matters into her own hands. Hagar and Ishmael were then banished from the household. Yet God kept His promises despite Sarah's sin. Can you think back on times when you didn't trust God and instead took matters into your own hands? God still loves us, still uses us, and still has a plan for us. Often times, these difficult seasons are preparing us for greater blessing, but we have to shift our mindsets to allow God to do HIS work in us.
Katie Anne is a Woman of God, a Certified Life Coach, a single mother of five amazing humans, and a woman whose journey through divorce deepened her faith and reshaped her future in ways she never expected. Growing up in the LDS (Mormon) religion, she always believed she had the "truth" of the gospel. All of that was radically challenged after she was encouraged to read the Bible and defend the truths she was taught to believe in. After embracing the teachings of Jesus from the Bible, her faith journey has profoundly changed her life and the facts she has come to recognize. This podcast is aimed at supporting divorced Christian women over 40 to navigate their paths with faith in God, grace, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
