Responding to God’s Generous Grace

A homily for the Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A), by Bishop Thomas Daly: Jesus’ parable of the laborers called to work in the vineyard over the course of the day can be jarring because of its seeming unfairness. However, Christ’s message is not about justice in human terms but about the incredible generosity of God’s grace.
