US Close 14 Nov 16: Dow at record highs as growth stocks continue to lead.

US blue-chip shares rose again on Friday with the Dow Jones at fresh record highs. Financials and healthcare stocks continue to be supported while the energy sector fell. The Dow Jones index ended higher by almost 40 points or 0.2% after trading in a 119 point range. The S&P 500 index eased by 0.1% while the Nasdaq rose by 28 points or 0.5%. Over the week the Dow Jones rose by 5.4% with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq both up 3.8%.
