The angels proclaimed at the birth of Jesus, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased." Yet Jesus himself said that he did not come to bring peace on earth. Still, for those who will bow before him in faith, he brings peace with God, peace with all people, peace in our lives, and peace for eternity.
