AM Report 6 Sep 17: US back on the board and ended lower after North Korean pressures

US sharemarkets fell on Tuesday as investors responded to the weekend news that North Korea had successfully tested a hydrogen bomb. Financial stocks also fell after a Federal Reserve Governor expressed caution about lifting rates again. The Dow Jones index fell by 234 points after being down 277 points. The S&P 500 fell by 0.8% while the Nasdaq lost almost 60 points or 0.9%.
