Our Parsha begins with Hashem commanding Moshe to solicit donations from the Jewish people for the construction of the Mishkan, a sanctuary that would be His dwelling place in this world.
They were to donate gold, silver, copper, and precious stones. Specialty red, blue and purple wool, linen, animal skins, and acacia wood. Hashem then gave Moshe exact and detailed instructions on how the Mishkan was to be built.
We find out why Hashem says, “They shall make for Me a Mishkan that I will dwell in them,” signifying multiple locations instead of one dedicated place?
We learn the true purpose of creation.
Have a happy Adar!
