Quill and Scroll board member and former JEA president Jack Kennedy visits with Sylvia Clubb about the importance of news media and yearbook critiques, specifically the value of the Quill and Scroll News Media Evaluation service. There are four different types of evaluation:

• Single news medium (newspaper, news magazine, online site) with extensive comments for students and advisers
• Multimedia news operation (all of the above) with extensive comments
• Single news medium, ratings only (No comments)
• Multimedia news operation, ratings only (No comments)
