The Many Exorcisms of Annaliese Michel: Demon Possession or Something Else?

In 1970s Germany, 16 year old Anneliese Michel began exhibiting disturbing symptoms including blackouts, paralysis, swollen hands, blackened eyes and scary visions. After a long visit to the hospital with no relief in symptoms, her parents became convinced their daughter had been possessed by a demon. 

Anneliese would be subjected to 67 exorcisms that would eventually lead to her death at only 23 years old. Kendra will review all the details of this sad case and we will discuss if we think it was true demon possession, undiagnosed health complications or religious fanaticism that went too far. Could her death have been prevented with more medical intervention? We even have audio from the exorcisms to listen to. This case did eventually land the priests and parents in court for neglectful homicide.
