Jersey Devil

In 1735 in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, Mother Leeds gave birth to her 13th child and cursed that child. The baby morphed into a hellish creature, shrieked and flew away. There bore the Jersey Devil...or is that all there was to the legend? From the Leeds Family to Benjamin Franklin to the misunderstood "Pineys", the Jersey Devil story is filled with a complex set of characters, to say the least.
